Soulflower Pep me Mint Soap Review.

You know the drill..cut it..cut it..cut it..

Ingredients:

They made the soap much darker and has this logo on it now. Hmmm... read on to know how natural it is ;)

My experience
Many of us are fans of their wonderful array of soaps. For me, this soap is the one that stole the show. There are many menthol soaps on the market but none as purely 'mint'y as this one. Once it is on my skin, there is an instant burst of coolness that feels so soothing in this hot hotter hottest Indian summer. The level of coolness it gives is comfortable and not too much like some conventional soaps we find on the market. It smells strongly of nothing but pure mint with little hints of sweet mint candy. It never made my skin dry, thanks to the coconut and olive oils it contains. It also contains crushed mint leaves which surface as the soaps being used and they never feel too abrasive or bothersome. Sometimes, when i feel super sleepy and groggy, i foam it up in my hands and wash my face with it and bam! bye bye dullness it is.

It does soothe all the itching and pain on acne prone skin. Also, it is one of the best soaps for oily skin. But, people with sensitive skin, Beware! because, obviously it will irritate your skin a lot and also i am telling this out of my experience with the current sensitive skin phase going on.

Pros:
  • Budget friendly.
  • SLS/Paraben free.
  • Gives a burst of real coolness.
  • Is loaded with real peppermint oil.
  • Doesn't make skin dry.
  • Feels soothing on normal/oily acne prone skin.
  • One of the best soap for oily skin.

Cons:
  • Not suitable for sensitive/dry skin.
  • Contains artificial colouring agent.
  • Did not mention if the palm oil they used is ethically sourced or not.
  • Did not mention if the 'parfum' they used is of natural origin or not.

My Rating: 4.75/5.

My Conclusion: Yes, i agree that it is not a completely natural soap but with such less options available for us in India, and maximum of them greenwashing us, i definitely recommend you get this soap.
