Seer Secrets Quantum Quattro Gemstone Bath bar Review. A Gem or A Grim?

A Natural Soap with Real Gemstone! Let's see if it is A Gem or A Grim.

Ingredients:

It looks like a Real Gemstone has been cut up in to a soap! Right?

*The background is a natural mountainous rock in my backyard.*

How are you going to use such a huge triangle soap? Don't even try because, it is humanly impossible to do that unless you can boast of a huge hand. The Tiny 'Me' tried and failed. That white foam residue you see in the pic down there is the proof! ;P

So, Just do This. Cut it up from the pointed tip towards the flat base and you're done. Hence, World Saved. ;P :D

Review:

Ever heard about a Gemstone called Quantum quattro? I toh never ever did! I thought they were using some robotic terminology that describes the product. *facepalm*

I even felt suspicious about the ingredients list since it lists no gemstone. Then, i contacted seer secrets and asked them to clarify. And, Here's what they had to say:

"We list the Composition of the Gemstone that went in to making the soap instead of writing the Gemstone itself in the list. We go through extensive R&D to come out with such a product. The soap is geometrically cut with the help of Fibonacci sequence understanding the Gemstone's Composition, Make and How they form."

So, what say?

I have only one thing to say: A Huge Round of Applause Please! I mean, just look at it! Feels as if an Artist precisely sculpted it with extreme Love and Care! I call it "A Breath taking Piece of Art".<3 <3 <3

But, How does it perform?

The Seer Secrets Quantum Quattro Gemstone Bath bar is not just a show piece but something whose performance will also steal your heart. Gives a light airy lather but cleans the skin really well and leaves it satin smooth. Smells slightly orangey bergamot but more sweetly lemony and throw in a hint of fresh lemongrass. Skin feels healthy, nourished and well taken care of. Not something i usually expect from a soap. This beauty Performed beyond expectations.

*If you are Acne prone, use it cautiously on the face. Because 2 little breakouts popped up when i used it on the face. Not a thing bothered on the body though.

Rating: 10/5. No no...don't get confused. it is 10 and it's above five. Because, it is Definitely A Gem and in no way A Grim. :)

Aroma Essentials Neem Face wash Review.

Aroma Essentials is a brand that sounds Tiny but, is Mighty. They are based in Bangalore. Almost all their products are really popular allover India and this Neem face wash was bought by one of my sister's friend and today's Review is based on her feedback.

That's how it looks. A thick black fluffy aloe gel kind of paste.

Review:

Usually, majority of Natural SLS Free Face washes for Acne in India are based on Tea tree. But, this one from Aroma Essentials has Neem, Activated charcoal and Eucalyptus which are all powerful anti-bacterial agents. So, She has been using this face wash from past 1 month and says that it's been really good. The gel is easily spreadable while massaging on the face and washes off easily. I does not lather even a tiny bit but cleanses really well. Does not dry out the skin like other face washes which target acne. A water based moisturizer after washing this off is must though. It controlled her Acne to a great extent and until now they did not re-occur. One major disappointing factor of this face wash is it's fragrance. It smells kind of bitter herbal which does not really appeal many nostrils. :P

Final words: Odor kept aside, this product is a must try for people suffering with Acne. Both Oily and Dry skin people can use it. Plus it's Eco-friendly too! Do give it a try.

Today i am reviewing this Gentle face Wash Powder Moisture+ from the Brand: Krya.

Review:

From the time my skin had become almost Hypersensitive because of my MS, i was on the lookout for gentle skincare products. One day when I was randomly browsing Natural mantra, i stumbled up on this this product and bought it immediately.

Unlike traditional face wash powders, this felt so soft and gentle on the skin. It's almost spongy after you mix it with water. Cleans the skin well. Moisturizing as claimed. Doesn't dry out the skin like other cleansers. You do need to apply a moisturizer if you have dry skin. Normal skin people may happily skip that step. Oily skin people better avoid it.

My skin gained a healthy glow and Acne did not bother too!

And the ingredients were the best part. Because, first of all, it does not contain Turmeric. I am allergic to Turmeric and i never ever got any rashes or allergies while using it. And second, the ingredients used in this product are something i've never seen before in any natural face cleansers. At 300/- INR, it is perfect bang for the buck. (Forest essentials and Kama ayurveda should learn something may be.)

Final Word: If you have sensitive Dry skin, do give this face wash a try. You might love it just like i did.

Na...This is not our mum Reviewing this thingy. It's Us.. who she calls her Loves.. "Ju" and "Li'l" taking over the job today. ha. Ok don't freak out now.. we are not typing it.. She is. We are just telling her our experience and opinions. After all we are the ones who had to go through this. :P

To begin with, We Hate Bath Time like we hate anything that passes our Home's premises.

So, let's see if this BON Organics Pet Soap thingy solved our bathing woes. :P :D

It seems this thingy is Not Edible! Oh Trap!

USDA Organic Certified Ingredients. Hmm..Whatever that means.. Mum tells this is good for our planet.. We Don't care.. Coz this bar is Inedible. Hmph.

Wrapped in...(consulting mum..).. she thinks it could be 'Sal' leaf. Whatever it is, we had crazy fun ripping it up! Oh and that Jute Rope too. He he..

Such a big leaf! No wonder we had lot's of fun!

This is how the Soap thingy looks.

And now, let's pounce on to the Review:

First of all, let us reveal to you all that we both usually have our own set of Escape plans... that never really worked. :/ Because, these hoomans always succeed in cheating us by using the 'There's a Cat in the backyard!' bait. We start running mad and right when the bathroom is around, they just move us in to it. Oh Trap! If you've ever been to Tirumala temple, you know how it works. You'll just be standing there in the queue and you don't understand how you went 1 Km forward. So, we got no other choice but to bear that 10-15 minute Shampoo workout. :/

Then one day, This bar o soap from BON Organics arrived home. We were in no way excited. Then the Bath day arrived. And after the usual 'cat'spiracy, we were in the 'Bathroom Trap'. But, OCB(Oh our Chew Bones)! Everything was going on super fast! Like...it was unusual. One swipe and the foam was bubbling up like crazy. In no time..like in 3 minutes, we were released! Out of the Bathroom trap we mean.

That very moment, we decided to Love this soap forever! It leaves us supa clean in no time. And we never got any allergies either. And also, it kinda blew the fleas out of our furs! They didn't dare come near us for a pretty good while.

Mum says it smelt Kinda Herbal.. Like 'Tea tree'ish... 'Neem'ish...and a li'l 'Lemongrass'ish too. She wished it smelt more 'Lemon grass' or 'Citronella' or even 'Eucalyptus'. It seems these fragrances smell more Fresh and Lively. We don't know but it seems hoomans do.

But, we really wish it made our furries smoother. It was kinda feelin rough after bathing. That's our only complaint for now. Mum says, Chemical purified hardened water could be the culprit though.

Do we Recommend: Bow yeah! This is one 'Smooth Operator' we say. Come on Hoomans, Order this thingy called 'BON Organics Pet Soap' right now and solve you pal's Bathing woes we say.

Our Conclusion: We Declare This thingy called 'BON Organics Pet Soap' - Our 'Savior'. If only it left our fur fluffy soft, this would've been our Ultimate Savior. But, it definitely is our Savior where bathing 'Time' matters. Anyways, in one way or the other, This is our Savior. (Sorry for using the word 'Savior' so many times. Couldn't help but say it coz our happiness is knowing no bounds coz our bath time has insanely reduced. He he..)

Debate: One Safe Product or Six Toxic ones? 'Jaggi Jasoos' LOTD Breakdown.

One Safe product that can Magically do the job of Six Toxic make-up products!

Read on to know what that Harmless product is.

Left pic is the Original one(Spots/patches on my face look exaggerated because of the angle of natural light falling on my face) and Right one is the 'After' pic.

Remember that i told 'i will Reveal what all i did to achieve that Flawless skin without using any Chemical based Make up products' in THIS Post? Yes, That's what i am going to talk about today.

That clear flawless looking skin like in the picture on the right usually requires: Primer, Foundation, Concealer, Under eye Corrector, Finishing powder and a Finishing spray. Right?

What if you can achieve this look without using these Six Make-up products which are Toxic to both Us and the Environment?

I used Just One Single Digital product: "Adobe Photoshop".

Yes. This Super Popular Digital Photo Editing Software is what i used to Correct all the Imperfections on my facial skin. Many people find it Offensive, and Unethical to use Adobe Photoshop for Skin Enhancement and even i think so too. In fact, many a times it has been a matter of Controversy regarding those utterly flawless Models in Magazine photos and Cosmetic brand promotions.

But, sometimes, where Artistic enhancements Beyond Human capability are required to portray a character, like in Film industry, they do it Digitally. Take 'Baahubali' or Shahrukh khan's 'Fan'. In both the films, Lead characters were digitally modified to fit the story. Right?

Now, you might be thinking "Okay...but, you could've done it with Natural Make up products too since you have not done any graphic modifications." Right?

I would like to Remind you that I Live in India. Where it is as hard to Find Natural Make up products as it is to find Water in a Desert. So, instead of Resorting to Chemical Make up to create just one look, i chose one Harmless Digital product to get the job done.

We Millennials are using Digital/Internet Technology to Create Awareness on many Issues in this world and Share a lot of meaningful Videos/Articles through the World Wide Web. As far as i know, Nobody Finds this Offensive. Same way even i felt that opting to go Digitally flawless Sometimes is No Crime when the Intention behind it is not Flawed.

Don't you think it is a Wise decision to take Digital help once in a while than Dumping multiple Toxic Chemicals in to our Earth which Robs it Off it's Life?

Review:
With Multani mitti-Sandal wood-Rose petals and Orange peel, This is a very simple face pack which you can even make at home. But, in case you do not have time for a home made face pack, you can definitely give this Jiva vrksa Face pack a shot. Even with my Super sensitive skin type(because of my Health condition), it suited me very well when i mixed it with curd. My facial skin felt really healthy after using this regularly.

Conclusion: A good face pack to maintain a healthy facial skin.

Jiva vrksa Body wash Review:
Just like the Face wash, This was a Huge Flop in my case! After bathing with the Jiva vrksa Body wash powder, My whole body itched horribly. It definitely did not suit my sensitive skin. So, i might be the wrong person to judge this product. That is why i am not giving any conclusions. However, i've seen a positive review on Amazon.in and a few blogs.

Jiva vrksa Hair wash Review:
Quantity: 75 grams.
Price: Rs. 80 INR

This Hair wash powder was a good one. It resembles our South Indian home made Shikakai powder. Did not dry out the hair and being slightly coarse, it cleared the residue from the scalp effectively.

Conclusion: If you need a south Indian style Home made Herbal Hair wash powder, then definitely consider the Jiva vrksa Hair wash. Being completely Natural and Organic At Rs.80 INR, this is definitely a much better option than Foam Booster Enhanced herbal hair wash powders usually available on the Indian Super Market shelves.

Jiva Vrksa Natural Personal care products Review Part-1.

Review of the Jiva Vrksa Personal care products.

Recently, 'Jiva vrksa' which is a Natural/Organic Personal care brand sent me 4 of their products for review. I used them in many different ways and am now ready to give my opinion on them.

About 'Jiva Vrksa' Brand:

The products we have always in one way or the other promote sustainable living either by taking us a step closer to nature or by supporting the people creating these natural products.

We at Jivavrksa will do what it takes to help with all of your questions on anything thats related to the products or any general questions that you might have on how to lead a healthy natural life.

All in all, i loved their Views, Values and Motto. Let's see if the performance of the products matched up.

I was sent 75 gram pouches of these four products:

*Hair wash.
*Body wash.
*Face wash.
*Face pack.

A Thank you Note and a pair of ear rings made out of Coconut shell from 'Manya vrksa'. :) Too bad i can not wear them because, My ears have strangely developed an allergy for all the metals including Gold which is supposed to be neutral and non-allergic. :-/

I am breaking down the Review in to Two parts. So, here i am reviewing 1 product i.e., the Face wash. Rest 3 will be in the second part.

Jiva Vrksa Face wash Review:

The Face wash powder was packed in a Paper packaging.

Ingredients:

The Face wash powder: (Model: Hubby ;))

First of all, let me tell you my skin type: Super sensitive.(because of my Health condition)

After using 'Forest essentials Narangi nagkesar' ubtan for a long time, i was excited to try something new in the form of Jiva Vrksa Facewash. After i finished 3 tubs of that ubtan, i switched to regular cleansing options for a while. After suffering that bad decision, i just grabbed this face wash powder to use because my natural liquid face wash and the natural soap were both drying up my skin like monsters!

I took 1/2 a spoon worth of this face wash powder, mixed it with a little water to make a paste and rubbed it gently in circular motions allover my face. Did this for half a minute and then washed it off with cold water. Then i went to my work place as usual. I was driving my scooter and started feeling weird on my face. And then after i reached and was shooting an important event, suddenly my face started to itch horribly! It was unbearable! I had to abruptly stop the shoot and run in to the kitchen for a glass of cold milk and immediately wash my face with it. I felt relieved after that.

I did not dare touch it for the next one week. :-I And then one day, i decided to give it a second chance. This time i mixed it with Milk and a little Milk cream. This time, it itched a little less but not completely absent.

So, the Conclusion is that, it does not suit Sensitive skin types for sure. However, it has Amazing Organic ingredients that do not usually fall in the 'irritating' category and hence might work well on normal/non-sensitive skin types.

My Rating A/c to my Super sensitive skin type: 0/5

Do i Recommed: It is very cost effective for a 75 gram natural face wash. So, you can give it a try if your skin doesn't fall in the 'Sensitive' category.

Review: BON Organics Aloevera-Chammomile and Tea tree-Rosemary Soaps Review.

Review of the BON Organics 'Aloevera-Chammomile' soap and 'Teatree-Rosemary' Soap.

BON Organics Aloevera-Chammomile soap Review:

Quantity: 100 gms.

That colourful cotton packaging made from recycled cloth! I love them to the core! But, now it's been changed to another natural packaging material.

Ingredients:

This is how the soap looked when i bought it long ago. I was confused when i read 'amalam' on it. I guess they used to source the soaps from that brand and re-market it or may be because of some other reason...idk. Anyways, it does not look like this anymore. It looks like all other BON soaps which are plain.

Review:

A basic soap from BON. That is all i can say about this variant. I was actually Escited after seeing 'Chammomile' which is usually recommended to soothe sensitive skin but, sadly did not feel it's presence in any way. Like all other soaps from BON, this 'Aloevera-Chammomile' variant foams really good with just a small swipe and doesn't dry out the skin. As for fragrance, it should've been smelling like any of the 4 essential oils that have been added for fragrance(see the final 4 in the 'ingredients' pic above). But, mine smelt weird! It smelt bitter and soapy. yuck. I had to finish this soap bar somehow so, i just made it smell good by doing THIS! ;) That Vanilla Goodness....yummm!

What strikes when you hear Tea tree? 'Acne' Right? That is the exact purpose i bought this soap for. Back then when i was living in Chennai, i had Severe Acne both on my Face and Body. I used to feel Horrible with all the Itching and Irritation i had to suffer every single day and all of this along with Humidity and Heat! Just Imagine. :-I

I started using this soap and i immediately felt relieved! phew. As rightly said by BON: 'mmm...smells medicinal...so, got to be good'(It does smell of medicinal tea tree), The BON Teatree-Rosemary Soap definitely reduced the irritation and helped me in healing the Backne i.e., Back Acne slowly. But, i have to say that this soap itself did not heal the Acne completely. I used other Homemade remedies along with this to treat them completely. This soap definitely helped in the process of healing. But it wasn't really useful on my face. I needed much more effective essential oils and Tincture to help them heal. I will reveal what those Essential oils and Tincture are in another post. ;)
