Seer Secrets Quantum Quattro Gemstone Bath bar Review. A Gem or A Grim?

A Natural Soap with Real Gemstone! Let's see if it is A Gem or A Grim.

Ingredients:

It looks like a Real Gemstone has been cut up in to a soap! Right?
*The background is a natural mountainous rock in my backyard.*

How are you going to use such a huge triangle soap? Don't even try because, it is humanly impossible to do that unless you can boast of a huge hand. The Tiny 'Me' tried and failed. That white foam residue you see in the pic down there is the proof! ;P

So, Just do This. Cut it up from the pointed tip towards the flat base and you're done. Hence, World Saved. ;P :D

Review:

Ever heard about a Gemstone called Quantum quattro? I toh never ever did! I thought they were using some robotic terminology that describes the product. *facepalm*

I even felt suspicious about the ingredients list since it lists no gemstone. Then, i contacted seer secrets and asked them to clarify. And, Here's what they had to say:

"We list the Composition of the Gemstone that went in to making the soap instead of writing the Gemstone itself in the list. We go through extensive R&D to come out with such a product. The soap is geometrically cut with the help of Fibonacci sequence understanding the Gemstone's Composition, Make and How they form."

Here's the Gemstone compared with the candidate in Review.

So, what say?

I have only one thing to say: A Huge Round of Applause Please! I mean, just look at it! Feels as if an Artist precisely sculpted it with extreme Love and Care! I call it "A Breath taking Piece of Art".<3 <3 <3

But, How does it perform?

The Seer Secrets Quantum Quattro Gemstone Bath bar is not just a show piece but something whose performance will also steal your heart. Gives a light airy lather but cleans the skin really well and leaves it satin smooth. Smells slightly orangey bergamot but more sweetly lemony and throw in a hint of fresh lemongrass. Skin feels healthy, nourished and well taken care of. Not something i usually expect from a soap. This beauty Performed beyond expectations.

*If you are Acne prone, use it cautiously on the face. Because 2 little breakouts popped up when i used it on the face. Not a thing bothered on the body though.

Rating: 10/5. No no...don't get confused. it is 10 and it's above five. Because, it is Definitely A Gem and in no way A Grim. :)

Final Word: Without doubt, just Jump and Grab it! For, the Seer Secrets Quantum Quattro Gemstone Bath bar can compete for the King's Throne in the Natural Soap Empire.

The Indian Blogger Awards 2017

Back to our Review now....

To begin with, We Hate Bath Time like we hate anything that passes our Home's premises.

So, let's see if this BON Organics Pet Soap thingy solved our bathing woes. :P :D

Brand: BON Organics

Price: Rs. 98.00 INR

Ingredients:

Saponified Organic Coconut oil (Cocos Nucifera) Oil)], Pongum oil [Pongamia Glabra],  Organic castor oil (Ricinus Communis), Organic Neem oil (Melia Azadirachta), organic aloegel [Aloe Barbadensis], Canola oil (Brassica Campestris) Essential oil of teatree  (Melaleuca Alternifolia), Eucalyptus [Eucalyptus Globulus], Peppermint [mentha piperita], Citronella [Cymbopogon Nardus] lemongrass [Cymbopogon flexuosus].

It seems this thingy is Not Edible! Oh Trap!

USDA Organic Certified Ingredients. Hmm..Whatever that means.. Mum tells this is good for our planet.. We Don't care.. Coz this bar is Inedible. Hmph.

Wrapped in...(consulting mum..).. she thinks it could be 'Sal' leaf. Whatever it is, we had crazy fun ripping it up! Oh and that Jute Rope too. He he..

Such a big leaf! No wonder we had lot's of fun!

This is how the Soap thingy looks.

And now, let's pounce on to the Review:

First of all, let us reveal to you all that we both usually have our own set of  Escape plans... that never really worked. :/ Because, these hoomans always succeed in cheating us by using the 'There's a Cat in the backyard!' bait. We start running mad and right when the bathroom is around, they just move us in to it. Oh Trap! If you've ever been to Tirumala temple, you know how it works. You'll just be standing there in the queue and you don't understand how you went 1 Km forward. So, we got no other choice but to bear that 10-15 minute Shampoo workout. :/

Then one day, This bar o soap from BON Organics arrived home. We were in no way excited. Then the Bath day arrived. And after the usual 'cat'spiracy, we were in the 'Bathroom Trap'. But, OCB(Oh our Chew Bones)! Everything was going on super fast! Like...it was unusual. One swipe and the foam was bubbling up like crazy. In no time..like in 3 minutes, we were released! Out of the Bathroom trap we mean.

That very moment, we decided to Love this soap forever! It leaves us supa clean in no time. And we never got any allergies either. And also, it kinda blew the fleas out of our furs! They didn't dare come near us for a pretty good while.

Mum says it smelt Kinda Herbal.. Like 'Tea tree'ish... 'Neem'ish...and a li'l 'Lemongrass'ish too. She wished it smelt more 'Lemon grass' or 'Citronella' or even 'Eucalyptus'. It seems these fragrances smell more Fresh and Lively. We don't know but it seems hoomans do.

But, we really wish it made our furries smoother. It was kinda feelin rough after bathing. That's our only complaint for now. Mum says, Chemical purified hardened water could be the culprit though.

Do we Recommend: Bow yeah! This is one 'Smooth Operator' we say. Come on Hoomans, Order this thingy called 'BON Organics Pet Soap' right now and solve you pal's Bathing woes we say.

Our Conclusion: We Declare This thingy called 'BON Organics Pet Soap' - Our 'Savior'. If only it left our fur fluffy soft, this would've been our Ultimate Savior. But, it definitely is our Savior where bathing 'Time' matters. Anyways, in one way or the other, This is our Savior. (Sorry for using the word 'Savior' so many times. Couldn't help but say it coz our happiness is knowing no bounds coz our bath time has insanely reduced. He he..)

Availability: We Recommend that you buy it on bonorganics.com

They ship thingies for free anywhere in India regardless of your cart value! Bowsome right!

And Right when Our Mum wanted a 'Good Girls' Pose from us...
Has anyone's pal been successful with the Kitty Mission? If yes, we would love some tips yo.

Here's an Animated depiction of the Attention Span of our kind.. At 1:26 Exactly:
From 'Secret Life of Pets' Movie.

By the way, it takes so long(10-15 mins) for us to bath because, we swear we don't stand in one place during the Shampoo workout. So, It is actually a workout for 'Them' than it is for us. He he he..

Review: BON Organics Aloevera-Chammomile and Tea tree-Rosemary Soaps Review.

Review of the BON Organics 'Aloevera-Chammomile' soap and 'Teatree-Rosemary' Soap.

BON Organics Aloevera-Chammomile soap Review:
Quantity: 100 gms.

Price: 152/- INR

That colourful cotton packaging made from recycled cloth! I love them to the core! But, now it's been changed to another natural packaging material.

Ingredients:

This is how the soap looked when i bought it long ago. I was confused when i read 'amalam' on it. I guess they used to source the soaps from that brand and re-market it or may be because of some other reason...idk. Anyways, it does not look like this anymore. It looks like all other BON soaps which are plain.

Review:
A basic soap from BON. That is all i can say about this variant. I was actually Escited after seeing 'Chammomile' which is usually recommended to soothe sensitive skin but, sadly did not feel it's presence in any way. Like all other soaps from BON, this 'Aloevera-Chammomile' variant foams really good with just a small swipe and doesn't dry out the skin. As for fragrance, it should've been smelling like any of the 4 essential oils that have been added for fragrance(see the final 4 in the 'ingredients' pic above). But, mine smelt weird! It smelt bitter and soapy. yuck.  I had to finish this soap bar somehow so, i just made it smell good by doing THIS! ;) That Vanilla Goodness....yummm!

Rating: 3.5/5 (-1.5 for all the extra effort i had to put to make it smell good.)

Disappointed? Then read the Below Review.

BON Organics Tea tree-Rosemary Soap Review:

Quantity: 100 gms.

Price: 186 /- INR

Description and Ingredients:

Review:
What strikes when you hear Tea tree? 'Acne' Right? That is the exact purpose i bought this soap for. Back then when i was living in Chennai, i had Severe Acne both on my Face and Body. I used to feel Horrible with all the Itching and Irritation i had to suffer every single day and all of this along with Humidity and Heat! Just Imagine. :-I

I started using this soap and i immediately felt relieved! phew. As rightly said by BON: 'mmm...smells medicinal...so, got to be good'(It does smell of medicinal tea tree), The BON Teatree-Rosemary Soap definitely reduced the irritation and helped me in healing the Backne i.e., Back Acne slowly. But, i have to say that this soap itself did not heal the Acne completely. I used other Homemade remedies along with this to treat them completely. This soap definitely helped in the process of healing. But it wasn't really useful on my face. I needed much more effective essential oils and Tincture to help them heal. I will reveal what those Essential oils and Tincture are in another post. ;)

Availability: bonorganics.com They provide Free shipping within India on Any Order Amount!

Rating: 4.5/5

Overall Conclusion: These Skin friendly and Eco-friendly Natural Soaps from BON are Totally worth investing in rather than the skin harming regular Toxin filled Soaps that you usually find on the Super market shelves.

Review: Forest essentials Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Body cream and Sugar soap Review.

Review of the Forest essentials Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Body cream and Sugar soap.

Today i am reviewing the rest of the contents of the "Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Body care kit":
Forest essentials Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Body care Kit.

First up is the Body cream.
Quantity: 15 gm.

Ingredients:

Body cream. It has a faint pink tone to it.

Review:
* Forest essentials Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Body cream was specifically made keeping summers in mind and made rightly so. It really is a super light textured cream which you can happily slather allover your body without any second thoughts even in summers. Hydrates the skin very well. It smells mildly of the signature fragrance of this line i.e., Lime with a hint of decadent pomegranate which is really refreshing and soothing at the same time. Even though this body cream contains Menthol crystals, it does not feel as Icy and Cool as the Body mist does. :(

My Rating: 5/5

Do i Recommend? Absolutely! If you live in a Humid environment and are stepping back to buy natural body creams which usually leave a greasy feel then, you've got your savior in the form of  "Forest essentials Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Body cream". :)

Next up is the Sugar soap.

Quantity: 50 gm.

Beautiful Red Translucent soap bar.

Ingredients:

Review:

This Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Sugar soap from Forest essentials is a good non-drying soap that smells of refreshing Lime and Pomegranate. That's it. Nothing special. It gives a light lather which proves ineffective at cleaning a heavy grime. Like the shower wash and body cream, even though it contains Menthol crystals, this soap does not give that icy cool feel as the Body mist does. :(

My Rating: 1/5 :-/

Do i Recommend? Not really. Don't waste your money on this one. I do not recommend this for Not just in Summers but in any other season too. Because there is nothing to go ga ga over. You can just buy any other much lesser priced  natural glycerin soap which smells good and be happy with it.

If you need a Cooling soap for Summers or hot weather then, check this one out from Soulflower: Soulflower Pep me Mint Soap Review.

Final Conclusion/Favorites from the Forest essentials Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Body care kit:

So, my favorites from the  Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Body care kit are -

1. Forest essentials Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Body mist.

This body mist is my most favorite product from the kit. Read the Review HERE.

2. Forest essentials Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Body cream.

Because, it is really hard to find non-greasy natural body creams in the Indian market. Read the Review by scrolling up in this post.

3. Forest essentials Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Shower gel.

This product is pure Bath/Shower time indulgence. To know why, Read the Review HERE.

Azafran Lemongrass and Ginger Soap Review & Nirvaaha Palmarosa soap Review.

You must be Wondering why this picture is in Black & White! Let me clarify...

Here's the original pic. It looks sooo cluttered that you can't really give attention to the soap whose this pic is about! :P Right? :D

Let's jump to the Review now.

What the Brand says: Grown and distilled at our organic farms, lemongrass and ginger oil enhance this soap with its antiseptic properties and warm spicy and lemony  fragrance. Skin becomes moisturized with safflower and coconut oil and smooth to touch due to the organic soya wax . Soya is known for its key ingredient soy lecithin which provides extreme smoothness and moisturization to the skin and is freshly produced at our farms to be mixed in our soaps. This soap is mild enough to be used on the most sensitive of the skin and can be safely used on face and all over the body.

Ingredients: Sodium safflowerate, Sodium soyabenate, Aqua, Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Hydroxide, Glycerine, Cymbopogon citratus oil, Zingiber officinale oil

Review of the Azafran Lemongrass and Ginger Soap:

This soap bar had a warm lemongrass fragrance with a hint of more warm ginger. Because of all the warmth involved, it was a good soap for winters. It lathered well, did not dry out the skin and lasted really long. I don't know why but, the brand decided to discontinue this variant. :(

But, i recently bought the 'Licorice and Saffron' variant. Let's wait and see how that one fares.

Nirvaaha Palmarosa soap

What the Brand says: Palma Rosa Soap is a 100% natural, handmade moisturizing and curative soap made from coconut oil and aloe vera and Palma Rosa Oil.Coconut oil moisturises the body, giving it a smooth feel. Aloe Vera, vitamin and mineral rich, nourishes the body and removes any unwanted spots on the skin.

Ingredients: Palma rosa oil, Cream and Aloe vera.

Price: 74/- INR!

What Nirvaaha has to say about Certification:

Must read!

certification

It is important to follow a code of ethics and a set of standards to ensure the authenticity of one’s produce. At the same time, surprising how certification is not required to grow and sell chemically laden food while certification is required to grow and sell toxic-free food.

While we understand the need for a process to be in place, we feel it is important for the process to be fair and equal across socio-economic spheres. Currently, organic certification is expensive, limiting the number of people who can avail of it. However, there are certain groups such as the Participatory Guarantee Scheme (PGS - an internationally applicable organic quality assurance system) who are making efforts to decentralize the process of certification, involve more direct stakeholders, build a foundation of trust and make it a more economically viable initiative. Currently, most of our organic farmers are certified by PGS.

True dat! Let's believe the scenario is going to change soon.

Review of the Nirvaaha Palmarosa soap:

The soap in the above pic looks like somebody wet the soap, squished it and packed it to sell it. :P :D But, this is how they look like when they are Man'hand'led and not factory made. ;D

This is a nice budget soap that fulfills all the basic duties of a good soap. It doesn't dry out the skin and it smells nice and Rosy too!

Rating: 5/5 for performing awesome on such a low price.

Soulflower Pure Glycerin Veg Soap 'Orange' Review

Soulflower Pure Glycerin Veg Soap 'Orange' Review

First of all...how yummy does this soap look! Heaven lot. Right?

It looked like some one froze Goldspot(if anyone remembers that good 'ol fizzy orange drink) in a rose mould. Yummmm....

That was my first reason to buy it.

Second was that it was from Soulflower. Because, i love most of the soaps they make. Let's see how this one fared.

Price: 150/-INR

  What the Brand says:

Every day your skin comes in contact with dirt, pollution, wind, sun & sweat. Inspite of these setbacks, you can still have the softest, most gentlest skin. Natural nutrients gently & effectively lightens dark spots for a more youthful & even toned radiant skin. The rich lather rinses completely leaving no residue, while orange peel powder deep cleanses to remove dirt, bacteria and oil & exfoliates dead skin cells for blemish free dear skin, Works wonders on troubled teenage & oily skin. Glycerin has humectants properties, attracting moisture to your skin making it softer & smoother, one of the reasons that our soaps are so beautiful on the skin. This soap does not use any animal produce like milk or honey.

Review:

When Soulflower introduced Glycerin soaps, i was really excited because it was winter and i thought it would be perfect to keep my skin moisturized. And after reading the above description and claims i couldn't wait but order it immediately.

I imagined a super moisturizing soap bursting with Orange flavour. But, sadly, neither the scent nor the moisturizing capability impressed me. The scent was far from refreshing Orange because it smelt like strong bitter soapy orange. And instead of moisturizing, it dried out my skin! That too when i was living in a wet humid climate!! I do not know why it did that in spite of being filled with glycerin!!!

 Conclusion:

I wish this soap worked. Soulflower Pure Glycerin Veg Soap 'Orange' is Seriously disappointing! There are better glycerin natural soaps available out there for even lesser price. So, i wouldn't recommend buying this.

psssttt...It looks sooo pretty that you can use it to make some soap art may be.. :P :D

P.S: This Soap is the answer for This Guess the post.

1.Vetiver soap
No..that's not a hair strand on the paper carton! :P Since it is natural papier mache, it is just a fiber. :D

Ingredients:

2.Neem soap

Ingredients:

Review:

1. Vetiver Soap:
I bought this soap with high expectations regarding the Fragrance. But Sadly, It disappointed me by smelling of almost nothing!

2. Neem Soap:
When i was suffering from Severe Acne i bought this soap thinking it would help me by controlling the breakouts. But Again, even this soap disappointed me by causing little painful and itchy pustules that were scattered allover my face.

Conclusion:
You can easily skip them. There are similar soaps available from BON Organics at lesser price.

Read the BON soap-Country Rose Review.

Last forest Pebbles Soaps-Jasmine, Lemongrass and Basil review

Review of the Last forest's Pebbles Soap-'Jasmine' .

About the brand:

Last Forest Enterprises is a marketing initiative of Keystone Foundation – it aims to spread the message of:

*small indigenous farmers and gatherers.
*value added organic produce.
*biodiversity and food security.
*indigenous knowledge, traditions and crafts.
*sustainable harvesting & farming methods.
*local employment & markets.
*fair trade principles.

Last Forest also promotes products from other areas in the country, with similar values. It runs a chain of 3 stores in Tamil Nadu. It procures produce from over 60 groups across the country and supplies to over 40 retailers.

Last forest is now a World Fair Trade Certified Organisation bringing you fair trade goods to your doorstep.

Let's move on to the review of these aromatic soaps now...

Both Basil and Lemongrass look similar like this.

The Jasmine one looks like this.

My Experience:

I love collecting pebbles. I just love the word 'Pebbles'!. So, when i saw these on the shelves of 'Dhanyam organic store-chennai', i just grabbed them without any second thoughts. :P :D

All three of them are really good SLS free natural soaps. They lather awesome and don't dry the skin. As for fragrance, the Jasmine one has the most beautiful scent of them all and leaves behind a beautifully fragant skin. It is also my personal favourite. Both Lemongrass and Basil smell mildly of their respective fragrances.

Pebbles did not disappoint afterall! :D

Pros:

*SLS free.
*Paraben and Petrochemical free.
*Leaves the skin moisturized and fragrant.
*Biodegradable and Eco-friendly.
*Made by a World Fair Trade Certified Organisation.

Cons:

*Lathers less in hard water.

Do i recommend? Yes, if you have soft water supply. The jasmine one especially. And also because of all their noble efforts towards preserving the planet and humanity. <3

This is a part of the "Soapathon" series.

So, Do you like pebbles too? Tell me about it! :)
