Home made Hibiscus Face mask Recipe. WITH PROOF! You will glow like a 1000 Watt Rose Bulb!
In this whole wide world, who wouldn't have dreamt of Glowing like a 1000 Watt Bulb? Here's the BEST EVER FACE MASK RECIPE for that 1000 Watt "Rose" Bulb Glow.
Ingredients:
- 1 Native Indian Hibiscus flower. Hybrid ones don't work because they do not contain the slime that our Native Country Hibiscus flowers do. That Slime is the Hero here!
- 1 or 2 Ripe Strawberries depending on the size.
- 2 tbpn Brown/Demerara Sugar. You can use the regular white sugar too.
- 1 tbspn Besan/Chikpea or Rice flour.
First, pound the Hibiscus flower, Strawberry and Sugar in to a paste. Try to make it as smooth as you can. It will naturally be a little chunky. Don't worry.
Since i can't do such a straining job with my right hand, (No no...i'm not lazy but i've got MS so...) Sweet hubs did it for me. :)
Our paste is ready now.
Now, put the Besan or Rice flour in to the paste and mix. This step is mandatory. Because, the thin juicy paste won't hold up on it's own. So, this flour is like our binding agent.
This is what our Final emulsion should look like.
That's it! Apply! and, leave it on for atleast 20 minutes.
Hubs couldn't resist either! :D
Here's my 1000 watt Glowing face with all the imperfections intact. :) Zero edits done and Zero Make-up worn!
So, get ready to scout for the Native Indian Hibiscus flowers and make 'glow'ry while the strawberry season lasts. If you can't find strawberries then, just add another Hibiscus flower instead. You can add a few drops of lemon juice in the place of strawberries.

First, a small peek in to my life and mind:
Hello :) i'm Siri and i am the karta karma and kriya of this blog ;). A lot has been going on with me lately. Many of you know that i am a MS patient. With MS, you can never predict what can go wrong in the body. My recent unpredictable symptoms are these: My Right Hand went almost dead...painfully. and my left hand started getting Tremors continuously. (The two 'MS' links up there are different articles about my condition and you can go through them to know more about it. Read THIS article to understand how we brave it!)
This is my how my Right Hand is becoming these days if i try to write: Swollen vessels and Extremely painful.
Yes, it did Shatter me that i can't write as much anymore but, just because my hands are not co-operating, i don't want to Give Up on my Blog and what i Envisioned with it. While this is one of the reasons i wanted to look out for contributors. Another is, i realized that "Together" we can do something Much Better than what i can do 'Alone'.
I guess many of you must have at some point, wanted to write, contribute and play a 'Key' Role in the betterment of the conditions on our planet and bring about a change in People's and our Co-Living Beings's lives. Right?
So, let us all "TOGETHER" become a Huge 'Key' instead of playing a 'Key Role' "Individually" and Unlock a Better World.

Raisin Cheese with Honey-Sesame Vermicelli Recipe. A Warm and Sweet Edible Christmas Wreath.
Ho Ho Ho! Jingle Bells! Christmas is here and so is 'This' Santa with the "Raisin cheese" and Honey-Sesame Vermicelli to bless you with Health. No no...not the Dish but, the Recipe. :D

Did you ever eat Raisin Cheese? No...not the Raisin Cheesecake. I am talking about the Raisin Flavoured Cheese! Did you? Did i? Yes, And, that too by Accident! ;P Read on to know how. ;)
My Original Idea was to make a "Raisin Rabdi". But, after making the plain Milk Rabdi, i mixed in the Raisin puree and cooked it more to thicken it. That's when some compound in the Raisin decided to act on the milk and turn it in to Cottage Cheese consistency. And, that's how i tasted Raisin Cheese! ;P Anyhow...it tasted good with the "Honey-Sesame Vermicelli" so, i decided to share the recipe with you all. :) I will give another try with the Raisin Rabdi and if i succeed, will definitely share the recipe with you. :)
Enough of this Long and Boring(was it?) chat. Let's just jump to the recipe of this Healthy and Super Tasty Sweet Treat. :)
Note: I am not writing it in a regular step wise fashion. I am quite new to this food blogging thing and i get confused with writing steps and listing out ingredients. No no...Don't blame my MS because, i have been bad with numbers and orderly things right from my childhood. So, let me just write everything down in a 'casual chat' fashion. :)
1.Raisin Cheese with Honey-Sesame Vermicelli: First, dry roast the Vermicelli until it gives off a toasted flavour. And then, keep it aside to cool off. Click HERE for the Review of Pro Nature Organic Atta Vermicelli.
Put the black sesame seeds in a large sieve and sieve off the stones. In India, Black sesame seeds are notorious for it's stone content so, if you are not comfortable with this tedious job then substitute it with white sesame seeds. The Flavour will be compromised a little though!
In a hot wok, put 2-3 tbspns of Ghee/Clarified butter and when it completely melts, put a small glass of water(100-150 ml) and bring it to a boil. Now add the toasted vermicelli Turn off the stove and keep it aside. When you are ready to serve then, heat it up, turn off the stove, Pour the Honey and Fold it carefully in to the cooked vermicelli. Sprinkle rest of the Toasted Sesame seeds and you're Done! :)
2.Raisin Cheese:
Take 1 litre of Full-Fat Cow Milk in a thick bottomed pan and bring it to a boil. Now, keep it on a low flame and reduce it while stirring every few minutes. When it reduces to a thick cream like consistency, add the Raisin puree(Boil a fistful of raisins and puree them without water) and cook it further to a granular cottage cheese consistency. Do not make it too dry. And the Raisin Cheese is ready!
While serving, assemble both Honey-Sesame vermicelli and Raisin Cheese while making sure not to mix them up.. Tastes Best when served warm. Serve a Sweet Christmas Wreath like i did:

The cap of this shaker is completely spill-proof. So, you need not worry when you shake things up. ;)

This is a 350 ml shaker and i made around 250 ml smoothie with Hot milk and jaggery to taste. I felt that 200 ml to 300 ml would be the right range depending on your taste. For me, 225 ml was perfectly balanced.

It tastes Comforting and Smooth. The BEST part is: It doesn’t have Cardamom

Being a Chronic MS Patient, i struggle to take a bath every day. Sometimes i Can't bath for 2-3 whole days and as an obvious result, i manage to reach the Peaks of Stink. Since i can't stand and am against Chemical Deodorants, I tried Natural powders, Essential oils and what not! None of them worked beyond one hour. I tried managing by wiping my underarms with a wet towel but to no avail. I was feeling super frustrated and i just couldn't stand this situation anymore.
And just then, Like God appears in Bollywood movies when you are at the peaks of your difficulties, this Natural Deodorant Cream appeared in my life!(Actually Instagram. :P) From then, i am feeling Blessed! Yes, Blessed. Might sound Cinematic but, that is how i can express my gratitude towards this product.
It controls the Body Odor for almost 12+ hours!(with at least one Re-Application). The Underarm Odor was nil till 8 hours for me and after that a faint hint of odor started to seep out. A wet cloth wipe and one more Re-Application gave me another 5-6 hours. Wet cloth wipe is not mandatory.
This is why i call it a Boon/GOD for Chronic patients and Bed-ridden ones. And also people who go on Adventure treks where they don't get to bath for many days can also carry this God product with them. It's a Boon for Anyone who does full-on physical activities and also to those who can Do None.
Warning: Do not apply on Genitals. You can apply Around them but Never 'On' them.
You need very little product. About a Pea size. So, this jar will last you a very long time. At least six months for sure.
*After application, You have to massage it in for about 2-3 seconds for it to get absorbed completely.
It's scent is pleasant Sweet Mint and Lemon which is not too strong. Sensitive noses may handle it with ease. The mild fragrance stays for a long time.
Though it looks like a flashy white thick cream, it doesn't give a white cast or stain clothes. Look at the pictures below:

Review:
From the time my skin had become almost Hypersensitive because of my MS, i was on the lookout for gentle skincare products. One day when I was randomly browsing Natural mantra, i stumbled up on this this product and bought it immediately.
Unlike traditional face wash powders, this felt so soft and gentle on the skin. It's almost spongy after you mix it with water. Cleans the skin well. Moisturizing as claimed. Doesn't dry out the skin like other cleansers. You do need to apply a moisturizer if you have dry skin. Normal skin people may happily skip that step. Oily skin people better avoid it.
My skin gained a healthy glow and Acne did not bother too!
And the ingredients were the best part. Because, first of all, it does not contain Turmeric. I am allergic to Turmeric and i never ever got any rashes or allergies while using it. And second, the ingredients used in this product are something i've never seen before in any natural face cleansers. At 300/- INR, it is perfect bang for the buck. (Forest essentials and Kama ayurveda should learn something may be.)

Final Word: If you have sensitive Dry skin, do give this face wash a try. You might love it just like i did.

My skin being acne prone, i was never really keen on using Natural serums because, they are usually oil based. But, this Aloe vera & Guduchi Hydrating Retexturing Facial Serum from seer secrets is water based. It is very simple to use and gets absorbed in seconds. Just smooth on 3-4 drops of this serum, let it absorb a little, finish with a moisturizer and you are good to go. The first time i used it, i woke up with a baby-but* smooth skin the next day. I just couldn't believe how insanely smooth it was! Not just that, but my skin had a glow which can not go unnoticed.
After using it for nearly 2 months, i can just say one word: Ahhhhhh-Maaaaaaa-ZZZZZZing!
Seriously! For me, This product is like Total skin care in one single bottle. My skin looks so fresh with a healthy glow. And the Texture of my skin has become so baby but*y. ;D All of this with almost no effort! (A zillion brownie points for that from us ever fatigued 'MS'ers!)*yay* *happydance*
*Since i currently do not have acne or any pigmentation, i do not know how it helps with those issues. But, one thing i can say for sure is at least it won't aggravate the acne problem since it does not contain silicone or any other acne aggravants. It has skin healing ingredients which might help with pollution affected skin.
*Also, be careful near the eyes and the nose. Under any circumstances, do not let it touch the sensitive under eye area and the inner edge of the nostril. I will seriously sting/irritate rhose areas. So, be careful.
And, Caution: It stings/irritates a little/almost bad on Sensitive/Abraded/Dry skin types. Only for a few seconds though. So, if you can stand that, this product might prove miraculous for you too. And also, since it has so much vitamin C, if you are wearing it in the day time, don't forget to apply an SPF based moisturizer or a sunscreen.
Final words: At 432/- INR, This product is a 'Genie that popped out of Seer Secrets ka chirag'.

My Blog is Robbing Me! It's High time i Break "it"!
Robbing me not off My Money but My Life.
Let's Begin with 'That "Cliche" Story'...
I belonged to the clan of kids whom people called 'Good for Nothing' category. Yes, i was good for their definition of 'Nothing'. In my definition, Nothing meant Everything. I was Differently Abled in my Mind. My world was Different in Dimension......Those Zillion Cloud forms, Those Mesmerizing Leaves when the Sunlight passes through them, That Soft Soil in my Fist, The Dust that Puffed up in to Glowing Curls against the sunlight when mum was Sweeping, The Amusing World through that Translucent Yellow paper which came wrapped around the Natraj Eraser and etc., etc., etc.,
To put in a filmy way: 'Saavli patharon se meri dosti thi...chaal meri kya hai Mitti jaanti thi...' (Tweaked lyrics of 'Safar' song from 'Harry met Sejal'.)
And also, Picture this: Sounds Cliche but, I am kinda 'Him' in terms of Mind.

And then........Pop's up....... "Multiple Sclerosis"! A Chronic Nerve Degenerating Disorder.
To put in a filmy way: 'Saavli patharon se meri dosti thi...chaal meri kya hai Mitti jaanti thi...' (Tweaked lyrics of 'Safar' song from 'Harry met Sejal'.)
And also, Picture this: Sounds Cliche but, I am kinda 'Him' in terms of Mind.
So, obviously, Everyone around me used to get super Annoyed with my Meagre Score cards. However, This Routine Ended with the End of my 'League O' Literacy'.
And then my "League O' Blog" started. I thought i will Blog away to Glory while trying to Save the World and it's Beings through my Conscious Beauty blog.
And then........Pop's up....... "Multiple Sclerosis"! A Chronic Nerve Degenerating Disorder.
Because my Nerves are Degenerating, The Wiring in my Brain got Messed Up and my Energy levels have hit Rock Bottom. Fatigue has become my Super Star Symptom. Whenever i am working up my brains to churn out a Write-up in that Standard 'Blogging Format', my Brain is screaming - "Gimme a Break"! "I'm Exhausted Already"!
That Format is constantly making me think about all those Writing Rules i Must Follow, 200 words, Keywords(I mean, how am i supposed to stuff keywords like: Insurance, Gas/Electricity, Mortgage, Attorney, Loans, Lawyer, Donate, Conference Call, Degree, Credit and so on and on and on... just to earn a dime?)
CPC, SEO, Page views, Social media/Internet-Presence/Visibility, PR and what not! With all of these Occupying my Mind and Exhausting my Brain Big Time, I am Totally Missing Living My 'Magical Dimension of Life'. That is My 'Life'. How can i Live without my Life!?
So, It's High time i Break "it": "The Rules"!
Here's the Big Decision:
I am not going to write in that Format Anymore. In fact, i am not going to write much anymore. Meaning, my 'Image:Write-up' Ratio in a Blog post will be '90:10' or even '99:1' if needed. From now...My Images will Speak for me. or, in this case: Almost 'write for me'.
That Format is constantly making me think about all those Writing Rules i Must Follow, 200 words, Keywords(I mean, how am i supposed to stuff keywords like: Insurance, Gas/Electricity, Mortgage, Attorney, Loans, Lawyer, Donate, Conference Call, Degree, Credit and so on and on and on... just to earn a dime?)

Here's the Big Decision:
I am not going to write in that Format Anymore. In fact, i am not going to write much anymore. Meaning, my 'Image:Write-up' Ratio in a Blog post will be '90:10' or even '99:1' if needed. From now...My Images will Speak for me. or, in this case: Almost 'write for me'.

So, is MS the Culprit? Hmmm...Yes and No. 'Yes' because it Reduced my Ability to Write a Blog Physically but, 'No' because it couldn't Disable my Mind's Ability to See the World in that Unique Dimension.
So, From Now, I am going to be a "Differently Abled Blogger". :)
I may not Blog as Regularly but will definitely Blog 'Differently'. :) I will Keep Sharing with you 'The Gamut of Life' that i Lived.

Review: Forest essentials Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Silkening Shower wash Review
Today i am Reviewing The Forest essentials Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Shower wash which was one of the products in their "Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Body care kit":

How about something Lemony with a soft decadent Pomegranate Twist when you feel like showering this time? Then you got to go and get this 'yum'ly refreshing Shower wash from Forest essentials ASAP!
I really loved this Iced Pomegranate and Kerala Lime Shower wash from Forest essentials right on the first day when i tried it. It bursts in to a foam of unique refreshing Scent which Energizes and at the same time Calms you down too. The Lather is light and airy and is pretty easy to wash off too.
The skin feels nowhere near dry and stretchy. Instead it feels smooth, Comfortably clean and moisturized.
The shower wash liquid is not red in colour anymore. They changed it to translucent white now.
But, one Drawback of this shower wash is that even though it contains Menthol crystals, it does not feel as Icy and Cool as the Body mist does. :(

Do i Recommend? Yes. Absolutely. There might be many other body washes at much lesser price in the market but none have this unique Lemon with a twist of Pomegranate fragrance. So, i suggest you give this bath time indulgence a try. :)
